Hello, and welcome to our website!
I moved from Sacramento, California arriving in Alaska for the first time in my life in January (brrr!) of 1978 with my husband, Dwight and our 3 children. I quickly fell in love with everything about Alaska and was very impressed with the "hardiness" of the people up here.
During my husband's 20 years of service in the United States Air Force our family was fortunate to be stationed in Alaska a total of three times. We have currently been in Fairbanks since 1990. We purchased our first (and only) home nearly 20 years ago in North Pole. We have enjoyed raising our 5 children here and are now enjoying our 11 grandchildren. I love Alaska's beauty & our two seasons, of which I definately prefer the warmer one! I love the long summer hours of daylight, the wildlife and the tremendous freedoms we are blessed to have & still enjoy in Alaska.
I have held my Real Estate License two times since 1997 and have been at MVI Realty as a Licensed Assistant to Melissa Bidwell since September, 2009. Over the years I have enjoyed my real estate career and assisting Sellers and Buyers as well as assisting in Property Management. I have found the world of real estate to be a very challenging yet extremely rewarding career. I fully enjoy working side by side with Melissa to help the people of Fairbanks realize their dreams for home ownership, as well as being here to celebrate with a Seller when the final papers are signed at closing.
