After meeting while we were both stationed at Ft. Polk,
Louisiana, my husband and I married
only a few months later in 1992. Going from one remote and extreme
location to another, we PCS’d to Alaska
in the summer of 1994 and fell in love with the place.
After getting out of the military we bought a home and
settled in for many long winters and hopefully more to come. Although I sometimes question why I live here (usually at -50 degrees below) I wouldn’t
dream of living anywhere else. It’s a wonderful place to raise our three
children and for them to “get their wiggles out”, as I like to tell
them. I settled into a debt collecting career for over 10 years while my
husband pursued his dream in law enforcement.
After 10 years and burning out in the debt collecting field
I ventured out looking for something new and found myself in real estate.
Not the sales side, I’d never make it, especially in today’s
market. However, the property management side of things so far I’ve
really enjoyed. I love the homes. They’re all so beautiful
and if I could, I’d buy them all and keep them for myself. Since I
can’t afford it I’ll have to settle for finding them good tenants
to take care of them.
If you are looking to rent and would treat it as if it were your
own, call me.
